My name is Peter Škubla, and from a small Slovak village called Alsószemeréd, I bring the world of Akn Guitars to life.
Since 2012 I’ve been building instruments. For me, this path has never been just a profession or a hobby, it’s an obsession.
A fire inside that wouldn’t let me rest until something truly unique was born.
I never wanted to create what could be found anywhere else.
My goal was to shape an iconic form, wild yet elegant, fearsome yet beautiful.
Akn Guitars is more than an instrument. These are not objects made of wood and steel.
They are beings.
Entities carrying the essence of the scorpion, endurance, strength, fearlessness.
Every line, every curve reflects that primal energy.
When you look at a Chela, you don’t just see a guitar, you see a living form, waiting to awaken in your hands.
The Akn philosophy is built on three pillars, and this is what the name itself stands for :
A – Arachnid : inspired by ancient creatures, the scorpions, giving birth to the Chela and related designs.
K – Klassic : the realm of more traditional forms, where the strength of the past and timeless lines meet the Akn spirit.
N – Normal : simpler, functional forms, where practicality and elegance merge.
This system is not just a classification, it’s a map of a universe.
Every Akn instrument finds its place within this triad, making the brand truly unique.
My dream is that these instruments don’t just sound, they leave an imprint.
That they become icons, not only in tone, but in presence.
